Tartu City Government invites to join the strategic partnership project "Health Promotion to Prevent Abuse of Addictive Substances among the Young People – What Works?" (HepYOU!).
Objectives of the partnership:
• Diversify the youth work methods for health development among youngsters through the international cooperation
• Promote the competence of health and youth work specialists to deal the substance abuse issues of young people and thus rise the quality of both health promotion and youth work
• Motivate active young volunteers to stay involved in the health promotion sector in local community
Interested municipalities should contact Kersti Kruus (email@example.com) by Oct 26, 2016 and, if possible, join the partnership meeting in Tartu Nov 9, 2016. The aim of the meeting is to examine the common expertise and knowledge about public health policies and youth work interventions to prevent substance abuse among youngsters. The specific aim of the meeting is to prepare the project draft for the Erasmus + (the sub-program for strategic cooperation) in this subject.
The organisers kindly ask all interested to cover their travel costs. Accommodation, meals and seminar costs will be covered by the City of Tartu.
