Planning Cities Commission seminar in Klaipėda

"Rediscovering water in the city: public realm strategies on the waterfront"

16 - 19 October 2016,  Klaipėda, Lithuania

Klaipeda is a linear city. Major centers are formed in one axis. There is a great reserve of the current territories within the Klaipėda City Municipality administrative boundaries, which can be converted and applied to a new development.
There is lack of functional and visual relations between the city and the Curonian Spit National Park. There is no access to the water, public space s are scares, there are too few marinas for pleasure vessels.

How to re-discover water in the city? Join the seminar and find out smart solutions.

Please register by 15 September 2016.
