Festival “A day with Caspar David Friedrich”

The Day of Caspar David Friedrich invites visitors to get to know the period of Romanticism, a time when Friedrich lives, more closely by e.g. visiting original places where the artist lived and worked as well as by different events and activities which make visitors perceive the world through the eyes of the painters.

Pomeranian State Museum – Exhibition „Luther´s North“

The north celebrates 500 years reformation! Even though Martin Luther never stayed in the north his new ideas developed a special dynamic in this area. Nearly all regions in the north as well as around the Baltic Sea joined to the reformation. The biggest territory of Lutheran community occurred. The exhibition “Luther´s North” gives an impression of ways, persons and significant station of propagation and strengthening of the new faith: in Denmark, in Schleswig-Holstein, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and it show which political and social changes the reformation brought along.
