Biggest annual urban event in Espoo. The open day of events features a wide variety of activities and performances for all ages from dawn till dusk all around the city. Events are organized by the City of Espoo, local businesses and communities. Entry to all events is free of charge.

Kotka Maritime Festival

Organised in the main harbour around the splendid Vellamo Maritime Centre, this annual event is one of Finland’s most diversified urban festivals. A happy festive buzz takes over the entire city centre, with an amazing range of music, dance, theatre, maritime, sporting and boating events on offer, and the biggest festival parade of the Finnish cultural summer. There are also lots of attractions for children and young people, with free admission to many events and activities.

41st Gdynia Film Festival

Gdynia Film Festival is the biggest event promoting Polish cinematography.
A programme consists of competitions, special screenings, projections of Polish cinema classics, meetings with authors, trade meetings, books promotions as well as important events from the world of culture and film, conferences and educational undertakings.
