The exhibition delights visitors by providing many different approaches to the past. The rich array of exhibits, entertaining and surprising technical solutions, multimedia and films, a scale model of the village of Mankby and many functional opportunities, such as the opportunity to try out a bow drill at the Stone Age house, offer visitors to the museum a new kind of exhibition experience.

April Jazz

The largest jazz festival in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area will be arranged for the 32nd time at Tapiola in Espoo 25–29 April 2018. The programme will feature a wide spectrum of Finnish and international rhythm music stars. As in previous years, April Jazz Espoo will be hosted by the Espoo Big Band.

Narracje - Oliwa

During the Narracje Festival, Gdańsk’s cityscape turns into a theatre of architecture and light. The Narracje artists work in visual art using light tech­nology presented on well-known or lesser-known Gdańsk buildings and street recesses, shop windows and in galleries. Their work can often be very surprising.

Mozartiana International Mozart Festival

Poland’s only festival to present the music of W.A. Mozart in original interiors from the Classical era is now an important and highly-rated music event. This year’s edition will feature over a dozen concerts with pieces by the Master himself and works inspired by Mozart’s music. The concerts will take place not only in the period interiors of the Oliwa Cathedral and the Abbots’ Palace, but also in the open-air surroundings of the historical Oliwa Park as a natural setting for Mozart’s music.

Gdańsk Music Summer

The Gdańsk Music Summer is a series of concerts that have been taking place in various parts of the city for over 10 years now. It gives both tourists and locals the opportunity to listen to the most beautiful classical music compositions. It is rightly said that music has charms to soothe even the savage beast. The Gdańsk Music Summer is about throngs of music lovers relaxing to the sounds of classical music.

Solidarity of Arts

Gdańsk is an excellent place to speak of the solidarity of artists, about art’s universal dimension, which transcends political, ethnic and religious boundaries. This is the idea behind this August festival, whose ambition is to unite artists and the public around high art.
