100000 EUR each year for Startups developing and supporting new business ideas in Kaunas.

Encouraging new ideas and helping young business grow is a high priority in Kaunas. The Municipality is an owner of a program “Startups of Kaunas”, providing financial support for new ideas to encourage Youth Entrepreneurship in the city.
In 2012, Kaunas University of Technologies has established the first academic youth entrepreneurship centre in Lithuania, called “KTU Startup Space”, which is dedicated to encouraging young entrepreneurs, hustlers, hackers, designers and anybody driven by creative ideas and searching for unique solutions to make them happen. In “KTU Startup Space” young entrepreneurs can get mentoring services and become a part of Kaunas startupers community.
