Save the date for the BSR Mobility event of the year!
The Baltic Sea Region Mobility Summit 2020 will take place on September 8-10, 2020. This three-day joint mobility conference which is held online, is hosted by three Interreg BSR projects: cities.multimodal, BSR electric and SUMBA. Many of the partners in these projects represent UBC cities such as Riga, Tallinn, Tartu, Gdańsk, Rostock, Kalmar, Karlskrona, Växjö, Aarhus and Guldborgsund.
For three days you are invited to take part in engaging discussions and workshops, see and hear exciting presentations and participate in virtual tours. You will learn how these three different projects feed into the emerging sustainable mobility patchwork and discuss what the role of an active interaction is among the wider sustainable mobility community.
Moreover, you are welcome to take part in the first ever online mobility party with a DJ, great music, dancing and discussions about projects!

Here is a sneak peek into the programme:
Day 1: 10:00-15:00 “RISE AND SHINE”
Highlights from the three projects feeding into the emerging sustainable mobility patchwork; intermodality as a tool for sustainable cities, commuting and sustainability and the variety of e-mobility.
Day 2: 10:00-15:00 “WORK IT OUT”
Interactive workshops on sustainable mobility planning: from data to planning, from planning to measures and testing our “Intermodalyzer” in your city.
Virtual Tours: from e-scooters to e-ferries, mobility points, bicycle library, innovative community involvement etc.
Riga is never finished: Riga’s ambition and activities towards attractive, convenient and sustainable mobility
Day 3: 10:00-13:00 “HEADING TOWARDS THE FUTURE”
A future outlook on sustainable urban mobility: COVID-19 impacts on the sustainability of transport, sustainable mobility in the European Green Deal, policy ambitions and policy programming, taking citizens on board when shaping mobility solutions.
