Dear UBC Members,
Here please find an invitation to the XVII UBC General Conference “Baltic Sea cities supporting Ukraine” to be held in Palanga, Lithuania, on 24-26 October 2023.
The conference in Palanga will bring us together to discuss how to integrate Ukrainian and other refugees from war torn countries. We hope to come up with ideas on how to support Ukrainian cities and their eventual reconstruction. The role the UBC in the process of the future EU accession of Ukraine will be also debated.
Also, renewable energy, decarbonisation, youth involvement and digital transformation will be on the conference agenda.
The General Assembly will be held on 26 October 2023 and will include elections, reports etc.
We heartily encourage all Member Cities to take part in the General Conference in Palanga.
