On the first weekend of August, Tartu celebrates Estonian food, fresh produce and excellent wine with Tartu Food and Wine Festival.

During the 3-day festival, small producers from South Estonia as well as pop-up restaurants offer the best seasonal bounties of nature and delicious taste experiences. At the wine area, everyone can participate in the open tasting events and get advice from the best Estonian sommeliers.

The festivities also include concerts, workshops and various family-friendly entertainment programmes.
