“Sudden Lights” band’s concert
“Sudden Lights” is a Latvian alternative rock band. The group’s activities began in 2012, when it was created by four friends who studied at the Pāvuls Jurjānas music school at the time. The first step on the way to the growth of the group was the victory in the competition of young musicians of Riga State 1st Gymnasium “Pirmā Plate” in 2015. For winning the first place, the group had the opportunity to record their original song “Tik Savādi”. It became the first song released by Sudden Lights.
In 2023, the group took part in the song contest “Supernova 2023” organized by Latvian Television with the song “Aijā”, where they won 1st place and the opportunity to represent Latvia in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
