On June 27-30, 2024, the international sailing ship race “The Tall Ships Races Klaipėda 2024” returns to Klaipėda for the fifth time.

Klaipėda – the starting port of the race, will invite you to celebrate together with ship crews from different countries of the world: a unique opportunity to enjoy sailing ships, watch the view, the parade of crews stretching across the city, an intensive cultural program of the event, get to know maritime traditions and escort the sailing ships to each race stage.

The purpose of the event is to promote the culture of young people through sailing, regardless of their nationality, culture, religion and social status, strengthening their abilities. Therefore, the crews of the sailing ships participating in the race are 50%. 15-25 year old sailing trainees. The city of Klaipėda and Lithuania, as a maritime country, will be represented in the race by a team of 50 sailing trainees.
