“The Nutcracker” returns to theatre stages around Christmas. A model of classical beauty that has always captivated audiences, it is also the most serious challenge for dancers and choreographers. Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s most famous ballet is a journey to the land of dreams. A little girl receives a gift from the title grandfather, who in her dream becomes a prince from a fairy tale, and she becomes his princess. In individual scenes, the ballet performs characteristic dances: “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”, “Spanish Dance”, “Arabian Dance”, “Chinese Dance”, “Trepak”, “Shepherd’s Dance” and the final “Waltz of the Flowers”.

During the Polish tour in November and December 2024, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” will be presented by the Grand Royal Ballet – an ensemble composed of the best soloists, conquering ballet stages around the world and prestigious international awards.
