Vital, lyrical, swinging and infectiously playful, it becomes when Musica Vitae gets to merge with Nordic, one of the country’s most respected folk music groups whose sparkling, swinging playing style together with Musica Vitae’s deepened timbre conveys something more, far beyond notated sixteenths and metrical rhythms. After the combo’s successful concerts in the summer of 2023 and the acclaimed Nordic Symphonic CD, they reunite this autumn in a program of folk songs and classical works, beautifully mixed but also individually.
