In order to be able to focus fully on both the festival and the cup, Brännbollsyra is split for two weekends during 2026.

First up is Cup Weekend on May 30-31 will be held in the World Cup in the Mariehem beds ahead of a folk party without equal, with hundreds of teams, cheerleaders, picnic blankets and cheers from morning to night. As the sun goes down, the party continues in nightclubs around Umeå.

The weekend after, June 5-7, it’s time for Festival Weekend – three full days at Hedlunda with world stars and Sweden’s greatest artists on stage. A musical explosion, in the middle of the early summer, where Umeå is filled with light, life and thousands of visitors from all over the Nordic region.
