The Virumaa DMO nature tourism conference “Nature creates a destination” brings together a diverse range of speakers – from well-known nature journalist Hendrik Relves and Finnish Estophile traveller Tapio Mäkeläinen to entrepreneurs and local government leaders in Virumaa.

The title of the conference “Nature creates a destination” is inspired by the nature of Virumaa and the already well-known places that have become important sights. At the same time, it bears the idea that nature is always there and worth discovering – starting from the door of a home or tourist farm. Everyone can create their own nature trail using the facilities and materials available.
