The concert will feature the legendary singer Igo and composer, pianist Jānis Strazds. Their performance will feature songs created together by both the two, as well as pearls from the wide repertoire of Igo – both his own creations and songs by Ēriks Ķiģelis, Aivars Hermanis, Imants Kalniņš, Raimonds Pauls, Zigmars Liepiņš and other authors.

Igo’s name does not require comments – his voice includes legendary songs of the bands “Corpus”, “Līvi”, “Remix”, as well as he has recorded himself in the history of Latvian music with participation in the rock opera “Lāčplēsis”, in the opera “Catertrale of Our Lady of Paris” and many other stage works and projects. Jānis Strazds has written songs for many Latvian singers, and with Igo his cooperation lasts for more than 15 years. See you in an exciting and hearty evening at Jekabpils People’s House!
