“Party in the closet”, singing balconies, salsa steps around flower pots and vases as well as jazz, bedding, roastfish and moor frogs between books – that sounds like Kulturnacht in Greifswald.

Every year at the beginning of September, around 50 co-organizers show how culture goes in Greifswald: from bookshops and shops to streets and squares to the Old Cemetery and port, all over the city there is dancing, listening, looking, celebrating, jammed, crafting, reading and at some point even sleeping.

Many contributions are free of charge and so entertaining that you can easily visit other places before or after.
