Marc Cools, President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, together with the Permanent Representation of Ukraine to the Council of Europe and in partnership with the Ukrainian associations of local and regional authorities, has issued a call to help Ukrainian communities. The call is issued in relation to the continuing Russian attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, despite harsh winter conditions. Interested parties are invited to reach out directly to Ukrainian associations included in the attached documents, which will explain the specific needs and ways of helping for example through provision of energy generators, cogeneration plants, energy storage systems, other energy equipment, spare parts or temporary heating solutions.
