Venue of the XIV UBC General Conference in Autumn 2017
The Board took note of the following candidatures to the UBC organs:
1. Executive Board

Latvia – Liepāja
Lithuania – Kaunas
Norway – Kristiansand
Poland – Gdynia
Russia – St. Petersburg
Sweden – Växjö
The Polish members of the UBC made a proposal that the city hosting the UBC Secretariat should have a seat in the Executive Board outside the national quota. The Executive Board recommended to the General Conference that the city hosting the Secretariat should be granted an observer status in the Executive Board.

City of Växjö, Sweden and City of Turku, Finland, submitted applications to host the General Conference in 2017. The General Conference shall elect the host city for 2017.
7. Two resolutions have been proposed for adoption at the General Conference: Resolution on the refugees situation in Europe and Resolution on dumping sewage in the Baltic Sea.
