The 27th World Kashubian Congress will take place in Gdynia in July 2026. This event will be unique precisely because of the 100th anniversary of Gdynia’s founding, which falls that same year. It is a great honor, but also a unique challenge, especially in the context of such a special year – the 100th anniversary of Gdynia’s city charter. Such an anniversary opens the door to events of significant social, cultural, and symbolic significance. The World Kashubian Congress is a celebration that will undoubtedly harmoniously integrate into the fabric of the city, demonstrating how to combine tradition with modernity, regionality with openness, local identity with global scale, symbolically connecting the sea and the Kashubian land.
