Chamber Music Festival – Homage to Ravel I
As part of the “Rencontres françaises” Chamber Music Festival This year’s Chamber Music Festival at the Rostock University of Music and Dramatic Arts (hmt Rostock) is all about French music, with the motto “Rencontres françaises”: French Encounters. The focus is on the chamber music oeuvre of Maurice Ravel, whose 150th birthday we are celebrating this year. Also featured will be works by Camille Saint-Saëns, Claude Debussy, Rebecca Clarke, Olivier Messiaen, Dick Kattenburg, Phillip Houghton, and Peter-Manfred Wolf.
