“Don’t wake me up” – Kalina Jędrusik songs
“Don’t Wake Me Up…” is an evening of songs from Kalina Jędrusik’s repertoire. Mostly songs by Jeremi Przybora and Jerzy Wasowski, this pair of authors has always held a special place in our hearts, because a song must have lyrics—unobvious, imbued with irony and metaphors, always relevant, carried by beautifully flowing melodies. Songs live as long as we sing them. The premiere concert took place on March 28, 2025, at the Rybak cinema in Łeba, to celebrate the singer’s milestone birthday, and another took place during this year’s Łeba Culture Days. Both were met with great audience acclaim. You will hear “Do Ciebie chodziłam” (I Went to You), “Nie odchodzi” (Don’t Go Away), “Autumn Girl,” “Utwierdź mnie” (Firm Me), “A Warm Widow for Winter,” and many other songs.
