The first known photo of a singing party in Elva is from 1923. This year, 100 years have passed since the tradition of choral singing is still highly valued in Elva. We wish the song parties a long life and invite you to celebrate the re-independence day at the Elva song square on August 20, 2023.

The party starts with a freedom march from the central square of Elva and heads to the party site at the Elva song square. The song party concert is followed by a folk party with the ensemble.
