The European Film Festival Integration You and Me, has been combining the theme of disability with the art of film since 2003 and consistently proves that ‘life can begin many times over’. The festival’s guests, people with disabilities – artists, athletes, travellers, journalists, designers – teach us this. The festival is an artistic endeavour, but it has strong social overtones, addressing issues important to the disability community and the integration process. We are a festival of open minds, sensitive hearts and positive energy. We cooperate with institutions, foundations, associations, organisations and individuals working for the benefit of people with disabilities. Small You and Me Festivals in more than thirty towns and cities in Poland are organised by local cultural animators, and the festival films are screened in studio cinemas in over a dozen major cities.
