This exhibition reveals our permanent collection without the contribution of American Latvian artists as a kind of thought experiment that allows us to see a collection without the influence of art created in the United States. As a result, the exhibition contains significantly less abstract expressionism, but more emphasis is placed on landscapes, geometric abstraction and the connection of these elements, especially in the works of Latvian-Australian artist Harald Noritis, which were created in Canada, as well as in metal constructions of Latvian-candinist Visvaldis Reinholds. The exhibition includes works from England, Australia, Austria, Argentina, France, Canada, Scotland, Germany and Venezuela.
