Born in Barcelona in 1965, Mayte Martín is one of those rare artists who does not need to make a new album every other year in order to remain in the spotlight and retain their place in the present or the memory of the audience. She is one of the most celebrated female singers in flamenco today – appreciated by critics, loved by fans and rewarded with multiple awards.

Ever since the early stages of her career, Mayte has been breaking the traditional rules: she has developed and promoted an extremely unconventional, original mindset and professional vision in flamenco. Thanks to her artistic aesthetics and statements, she is considered the pioneer and pillar of the so-called “Catalan flamenco” scene – and a role model for the new flamenco generation.

As the name suggests, the Flamenco Íntimo performance will feature Mayte Martín performing intimately, accompanied only by a guitarist (José Gálvez).
