I can’t go – CONCERT PERFORMANCE

Vizma Belševica – one of the largest stars of Latvian poetry, whose names have been heard far beyond the borders of Latvia. She has repeatedly been nominated for the Nobel Prize, translated into many languages, but during the Soviet regime was also banned and suffered for her voice of truth.
Her creative work will come to life in the concert performance “Vizma Belševica – I cannot go away” – not only aches and reflections, but also humour, liveliness and inexhaustible joy of life.
The poetry path of Vizma Belševica in music has become an integral part of the golden fund of Latvian songs. The concert will feature: Raimonds Pauls – “I can’t go”, “Kamola tinker”, “You come, you go”, “Chakanītis” “I love you like this”, “Jumitis” …, Imants Kalniņš – “Dūdieviņš”, Uldis Stabulnieks – “Diever”, Nika Matvejeva – “Knees my people”, glapa Krasts “Your roots in your land”
