“Inga. The Old Man’s Boy” – exhibition
With the memorial exhibition “Inga. “Vecpiebalga boy” artist Indulis Zvagūzis symbolically returns to his homeland in the year of his 95th birthday and almost thirty years after his death. The exhibition opens up a wide insight into the little-known and perhaps under-appreciated creative work of Indulis Zvagūž – for the first time, it offers to a wider audience not only previously unexhibited works of the artist in watercolor and oil techniques from the collections of his family and several museums in Latvia, but also reveals his diverse and prolific activities in the field of book illustration.
