May is here – the month of Jelgava city celebrations, a time of patriotism, pride and togetherness.

This year it is special, because the city celebrates its 760th birthday with the motto “Mark Jelgava in colors!”. Traditionally, various activities are planned for the last week of May, but the culmination of the celebrations is expected from May 30 to June 1. For more than 20 years, the most beautiful event of the city celebration has been a procession, in which institutions, organizations, associations and every Jelgava resident are invited to participate. Let us be united and mark Jelgava in colors, showing how different we, the residents of Jelgava, are, how diverse and diverse our traditions are!
