Johnny Cash (born John Ray Cash on February 26, 1932, died September 12, 2003) was one of the most iconic singers, guitarists songwriters in country – rock music. With his deep, recognizable voice the distinctive dark clothing that earned him the nickname The Man in Black, he created a musical legacy that still lives today.
His songs feature both pain, social consciousness humor – from harsh tales like San Quentin Folsom Prison Blue to ear hangers like the Ring of Fire I Walk the Line. His music has hit generations of listeners is still as topical today as it was when he was standing on stage.
Today, Johnny Cash’s legacy is carried on by The Tennessee Four, a band that pays tribute to his life’s work brings his music to life again. The band consists of: Thomas Gabriel (vocal)
Johnny Cash’s eldest grandson, whose voice bears a remarkable resemblance to his maternal grandfather’s. He has created his own
