The only light festival in Klaipėda and Western Lithuania, aiming to introduce contemporary light design and media expression, to innovatively present the identity of the city of Klaipėda, to illuminate the architecture of the port city in an attractive form and to partially reduce the seasonality of the year. For the 2025 Klaipėda Light Festival, the theme chosen is BRIDGES. The theme, which has a deep symbolism connecting various dimensions such as culture, history, people, time and space, is revealed through different light projects.

The route of the festival and the selection of the project locations take into account the relationship between light and space, comfort and the effect of the unexpected. Each year, the festival presents 3-5 core (major) projects, and the chosen theme is fulfilled by all the works of Lithuanian and foreign artists.
