Anna has lived an adventurous and free-spirited life in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century and is now returning to home and sleepy Pärnu. While Anna is abroad and wants to commit to improving the world, her former girlfriends in Pärnu seem like a model of small-town, whose days would seem to have been filled only by loggers, sleeping in a café and caring for children.
