The open-air exhibition “M jak morze 10” is the culmination of the jubilee, already the tenth open-air painting session taking place from August 25, 2023 to September 1, 2023. The plein-air is carried out with the participation of 23 participants from various cities and towns in Poland [Warsaw, Krakow , Tarnów, Wrocław, Sopot, Krosno, Bytów, Człuchów, Gdynia, Drawsko, Słupsk] and from Berlin – members of the Pomeranian Branch of the Polish Seafarers’ Association in Ustka. Regular plein-airs integrate the members of the association and allow for mutual exchange of views and activities. Their fruit is a variety of paintings, expressing different views on the marine theme. The commissioner of the plein-air is Waldemar Kaliczak. The plein-airs from the series “M jak morze” were initiated by Ustka’s seafarer late Witold Lubiniecki, on whose initiative the Ustka associations were established in 1989.
