Organ Festival – 35th edition
The festival takes place annually in October in Rumia at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary Help of the Faithful Salesians of St. John Bosco.
The inspiration to organize the Festival was the figure of an outstanding musician and composer, working for 26 years in Rumia, a great patriot, humanist and youth educator, the Salesian Fr. prof. Stanisław Ormiński.
Three competitions are held as part of the Festival:
– Organ Music Competition – for young organists up to 27 years of age,
– Competition of Choir Ensembles – in two judging categories (choir ensembles and chamber ensembles),
– Competition for the best performance of a religious song in the Kashubian language.
