PITCH project Regional Webinar
The Regional Webinar on White Paper of the PITCH project will be held on 5 November.
PITCH is a three-year project, launched on January 1, 2022. PITCH stands for ‘a model for gender-sensitive integration strategies based on Personalised, partIcipaTory, loCal, and multistakeHolder approaches.’ It is financed by AMIF – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (2021-2027). UBC is a partner in the project.
PITCH aims to establish a common European ground to support the design and implementation of local integration strategies addressed to migrant women, based on a personalised, participatory, and multi-stakeholder approach. The project will do so by co-designing a model, that will be adjusted into 7 local strategies, and implemented with migrant women in Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania and Sweden.
One of the deliverables is a White Paper, a document, prepared by the UBC based on the experiences from the project partners. The document presents the model and the recommendations on how to use it and how to translate it to the local context. Also integration challenges faced in the project countries are introduced.
During the webinar the White Paper will be introduced. Project partners from Sweden, Lithuania and Spain will also share their experiences from the pilot testing phase.
The local example on supporting migrants will also be presented by Immigrant Support Center in Gdańsk.
