Rakvere The cultural center is Rakvere The heir to the People’s House and will celebrate its 105th anniversary on May 10, 2025.

This year’s anniversary celebrations are ambiguous. We are celebrating a dignified birthday in the building where the Rakvere Community Center Society was registered and started on May 4, 1920. The founder and leader of the society was Jakob Liiv, thanks to whose leadership the Rakvere Theatre was also opened in the same building 20 years later.
During the anniversary celebrations, we will pay a heartfelt tribute to the lovely theatre house that has been our home until now. And in the new year, Rakvere Cultural Centre will begin a new chapter by moving to the Ukuaru Music House, which is currently under construction.
