“Rising Thoughts” is the third album by Michał Ciesielski – a jazz pianist,  composer and arranger from Gdańsk, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. 

The album is a consequence of four years spent in Beijing between 2018 and 2022, musical friendships established in China and participation in projects carried out by the most creative musicians of that scene.

This album is an attempt to rediscover his own – personal voice in music, resulting from his upbringing in Polish musical culture, a jazz background and Ciesielski’s characteristic illustrative approach to creating music.
