Tymoteusz Rożynek, better known as Szczyl, was born on March 9, 2000 in Katowice. He began his musical career in 2020 with his debut song “Druga dekada”. It was this single that opened the door for him to cooperate with the SBM label as part of the SBM Starter initiative.  In 2022, Szczyl, together with DJ Blik, released the song “Pograniczenie”. In the same year, together with Magiera, the artist released the mini-album “8171”, promoted by the singles “Chainz”, “Jaraj” and “To all those who felt bad today”. In 2023, Szczyl won the Fryderyk Award in the Hip Hop Album of the Year category for this album.
