TDA “Gauja” 80th anniversary concert performance “Gauja. Water. Movement.”
Folk dance ensemble (TDA) “Gauja” invites to the collective’s 80th anniversary concert performance “Gauja. Water. Movement.” June 7 at 8 p.m. 22.00 in the territory of Daliņi beach, Valmiera.
This will be the first concert performance of TDA “Gauja” in an unusual environment – on the bank of the river. Approximately 200 existing and former dancers will dance both old and beloved and new chorecory.
The concert performance will be a story about the movement of water in nature. Human life also has its own movement. Every second, minute and day. Also for dance – the same way. We begin from the sun’s rays with race, flow into development, swirling through the day like a river in different rhythms, experiencing both rapids and the calm flow, only in the evening overgrown in the calm and noble fog. Water is life, and in life everyone ends is a new beginning.
