The Fly

2024-01-30

“Musė”, is partly an absurd comedy, based on the play of the same name by D. Čepauskaitė. “The Fly” invites the audience to immerse themselves in the delicate exercises of everyday relationships – surrounded by absurd details. Three women and one man with a broken leg is a recipe for a comic drama that, we must warn you, can be “open”.  The play uses very few decorations, and the place of the entire action is an unchanging space – the sofa of the apartment of the main character of the play. Perhaps we ourselves sometimes don’t even think about the important role such an ordinary piece of furniture as a sofa plays in our daily lives, on which fates can be decided, sometimes, without us even moving from our place. In “The Fly” you will also get several riddles and how you solve them during the performance will determine the end of the performance, and everyone who comes will be given the answer they are ready to accept at that time. In addition, under the genre of absurd comedy, the creative team of the performance also hid an extremely sensitive wound of society – social exclusion due to the existing financial situation, and invites you to look at slightly… different people from a different angle.
