“AMBER WEEKEND” is a traditional Palanga event, held for the 16th time, aimed at popularizing the medical, healing and esoteric properties of amber, educational activities, the use of amber in the household, medicine, decoration, cooking, processing craft, jewellery, legends. During the event, special attention will be paid to the healing properties of amber and the presentation of masters who provide such services. It is planned to present an exposition of amber records – the largest Amber Egg in Lithuania, amber slinky, amber necklace, amber dress, etc.

Local and foreign amber craftsmen, national crafts and culinary heritage will be presented at the Amber and Crafts Fair, which will be held in the streets and squares of the city. It will feature “Gintaro Meistarnė”, where amber processing masters will demonstrate and teach the intricacies of the craft of amber processing. It will be offered to taste the unique “Amber soup”. Jūratė and Kastytis square will become a kind of legendary house of Jūratė this weekend, where a festive concert will be held.
