Carlos is dead.
His lover, the pregnant Adriane, is expecting his wife Eve in a lonely hut in the Tigre Delta. The two have never faced each other face to face. The burning question is: did Carlos take his own life or was it murder? An exciting duel develops between the unequal rivals, often inscrutable as to what intentions are actually being pursued.
