Closing concert of the 2nd HAMMOND Organ Festival on Friday, August 28 at 7 p.m., we invite to enjoy “galactic jazz” performed by the French trio “SUNSCAPE”.

Sunscape is a jazz trio around “vintage” keyboards (Hammond, Rhodes, Moog… and piano) playing original music described as “galactic jazz.” Their first album was released in october 2023, and was welcomed with very good press reviews (“revelation” in Jazz Magazine, “album of the week” on FIP, national radio…). “Sunscape takes us to a vibrant solar land, fusing the acoustic, electric synthetic and tones of keyboards. Long friends Emmanuel Beer and Jules Le Risbé created the trio around this blend of piano and Hammond Organ. Quickly by Thomas Doméné on drums, the trio shapes its original music with delicious old-school sounds.” Sunscape won the jazz contest of Nîmes, France (Jazz70) recently and is selected by OcciJazz (Occitanie’s network) for a residency program in 2024-25.
