
Zaporizhzhia International Film Festival (ZIFF)

ZIFF is an international short film festival held in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, dedicated to promoting and supporting national cinema. The festival also welcomes films and video works from international and joint productions that preserve Ukrainian cinematic traditions. It seeks to spotlight young talents, foster cultural exchange, engage young audiences, and facilitate a creative dialogue between Ukrainian cinema and the public.
The festival accepts short films of all genres (fiction, documentary, and animation) as well as scripts. Winners are selected in the following categories:
– Best Ukrainian Short Fiction Film
– Best Ukrainian Short Documentary Film
– Best Ukrainian Short Animated Film
– Best International Short Film
The Festivals features screenings, cultural and artistic events, masterclasses, and creative meetings with filmmakers. International participants are welcome, and the organizers are happy to discuss collaboration opportunities and suitable formats.
