The annual Excellence in Road Safety Awards recognizes and celebrates the achievements of Charter members contributing to safer roads across Europe. This year, the awards form part of the EU Road Safety Conference, which will take place on 23 November in Brussels.
Applications are invited across five categories:
– At work: Measures addressing road safety for employees, fleets, and work-related travel.
– Education: Initiatives that raise awareness and teach road safety skills.
– Technology: Innovative projects applying new technologies to prevent crashes and enhance safety.
– Urban: Initiatives that make cities and towns safer for all road users.
– Vulnerable road users: Actions protecting cyclists, pedestrians, people using personal mobility devices, and other at-risk road users.
Applications should show how the initiative has addressed a road safety challenge and delivered measurable results.
Members of the European Road Safety Charter can apply for the award, the others can join the Charter if they wish to apply.
