Energy Cities invites interested parties to participate in PROSPECT project offering trainings, peer-to-peer exchanges and capacity-building activities to EU cities and regions on the topic of innovative financing.
Third edition of PROSPECT offers a robust and free capacity-building programme based on peer-to-peer exchanges and combining:
- online courses (the PROSPECT Academy, coming in April-May 2026)
- in-presence activities (Study visits & Masterclasses)
- exclusive access to specific tools and learning materials
By joining these activities, cities, regions, and their energy agencies, can acquire the right competences to not rely solely on public funding but also leverage the use of private capital, using innovative financing schemes (such as EPC, Intracting or citizen financing) and enabling structures (such as one-stop-shops, energy agencies or energy communities).
The first learning cycle is planned to start in May 2026 and will be followed by 3 other cycles until the end of the project in 2028. First PROSPECT policy webinar, regarding EU Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2034, will take place online, 12 February, 11:00-12:30 CET.
