The MariEx project aims to support the transformation of small fishing harbours into sustainable and attractive maritime tourism destinations while preserving their authentic working character and cultural heritage. The project is funded by the Interreg South Baltic Programme.
UBC is primarily responsible for dissemination activities within the project, focusing on communication, enhancing peer learning, promoting results, and organizing two thematic workshops held back-to-back with UBC events.

UBC would like to invite cities to participate in a survey aimed at identifying the needs, challenges, risks, and opportunities faced by municipalities and local authorities responsible for fishing harbours and coastal communities.
The questionnaire takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. All responses will be analysed anonymously.
The deadline for completing the questionnaire is 15 September.
