UBC Learning Cities Commission will held a meeting in Liepāja, on 21–22 May 2026.
Hosted by the City of Liepāja in cooperation with the Chair City of Gdynia, the meeting will bring together representatives of member cities to reflect on current challenges and opportunities in education.
The topics to be addressed:
- strengthening student motivation,
- fostering inclusive learning environments,
- supporting innovation through city-level policies
- ongoing activities of the Commission and directions for future cooperation
Alongside the working sessions, participants will have the chance to visit local educational institutions and gain insight into practical solutions implemented in Liepāja.
The programme includes a visit to the Science and Education Innovation Center, offering a hands-on perspective on educational innovation.
