mPOWER Digital course: Best Practices for a Successful Energy Transition

The Horizon2020 mPOWER project is now recruiting ambitious energy transition cities to participate in the mPOWER Digital course: Best Practices for a Successful Energy Transition.

The mPOWER Digital course zooms in on best practices to advance a democratic and public-led energy transition. The first edition of the course took place in spring 2020 and received very positive reviews from its participants:
I have learned a lot on citizens engagement… and had the opportunity to get insight into successful and effective projects which have been implemented all over Europe.
The course made me rethink some of the prominent narratives regarding the privatisation of energy.
When I read “Municipalities at the heart of a just transition”, I understood that this was my course.

The next course will start on September 30, 2020.
For a period of six weeks, 30-35 municipalities from across Europe will learn from their peers, who are leading the energy transition, and get plenty of opportunities to exchange municipal power experiences with each other.

Municipalities can express their interest by filling in this 2-minute survey.
