New UBC associated city Kramatorsk attacked by missiles

Last week at the 90th UBC Executive Board meeting in Hamburg, Kramatorsk was accepted as UBC associated city together with four other Ukrainian cities.

Yesterday Kramatorsk city centre was shelled by Russian missiles. According to the available information one strike was aimed at popular plaza with apartment buildings, restaurants and other commercial premises. The second hit the nearby village Bilenke. As a result of these attacks dozens of civilians have been injured and 12 have been killed. The exact number of victims may be higher as the rescue action has not yet been finished.

UBC member cities join in distress with the families of brutally attacked innocent residents of Kramatorsk.
