The Union of the Baltic Cities will meet for its General Conference on 24th – 26th October 2023 in Palanga (Lithuania).
In order to ensure youth input to the work of the General Conference and encourage networking between active young people of the region, Youthful Cities Commission will be organizing Youth Conference in conjunction with UBC General Conference. It will start several days before the General Conference and end one day after the General Conference.
In order to secure funding for the Youth Conference, Youthful Cities Commission together with involved cities is planning to submit Erasmus+ youth exchange project application for 23rd February deadline.
Cities that are willing to be partners in the project are invited to fill in the attached Partner Identification Form and send it to email address dmitrijs.zverevs@riga.lv by 3rd February (12:00 CET). City or municipal institution can be proposed as partner.
One city per country will be selected for partnership. The approved partners will be invited to coordinate participation of young people from UBC member cities in respective countries in the Youth Conference.
